Up News. The Uttar Pradesh government has recently transferred 16 IAS officers and 11 IPS officers with the objective of accelerating administrative reforms and development projects. Through these reshuffle, new officers have been appointed to many important posts. The purpose of this step is to make the administration of the state more effective.
Ayodhya: Nikhil Tikram Funde has been appointed as District Magistrate. He will replace Chandra Vijay Singh, who has been appointed as Special Secretary in the infrastructure and Industrial Development Department.Uttar Pradesh government has recently appointed new District Magistrates in many districts. Under these appointments, the following officers will take over their new posts:
Earlier, on 15 April 2025, the Uttar Pradesh government transferred nine senior IAS officers. Among them, IAS Sameer Verma was appointed as IG Registration, IAS Pramod Kumar Upadhyay as Chinese Commissioner and IAS Dr. Heera Lal as Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperative Societies. It is clear from all these transfers that the Government of Uttar Pradesh is committed to giving impetus to administrative reforms and development projects. This step ensures that the governance in the state is more effective and transparent.
